Interview with a Mother-Daughter Teaching Duo at Hana Academy

Although this is a late Mother’s Day story and I should have started on a Father’s Day story, I came across a nice story at a school in the Philippines. At Hana Academy, I met Teacher Marly and her daughter, who I initially thought was her younger sister. So, I interviewed them.

How do you feel working with your mom as a teacher?

1. It is a privilege to work with my mom as her co-teacher. When I was a kid, I only aspired to be like her someday. So, I feel honored to be working in the same place and profession with her.
