IELTS Speaking Part 1 – T-Shirt

 IELTS Speaking Part 1 (T-Shirt)

Topic: T-Shirt
Difficulty: Easy

1. Do you like wearing T-shirts?

I don’t really like it but living in the southern part, where it’s often very hot, wearing thick clothing is not recommended as it can make us sweat profusely. Therefore, we tend to opt for light-colored shirts that are more breathable and comfortable.

2. How often do you wear T-shirts?

I wear T-shirts regularly, except during my internship at the Apple store when I had to wear a business suit. On my days off, I usually choose to wear either a summer dress or an oversized shirt.

3. Do you like T-shirts with pictures or prints?

Ideally, I prefer plain shirts as they have a more professional appearance. Sometimes, prints or images on shirts can be distracting, especially when engaged in conversation with someone.

4. Do you think older people who wear T-shirts are fashionable?

It’s not something that applies universally. Some older individuals who have a great physique can certainly pull off wearing shirts and jeans, but it may not work for everyone.

5. Would you buy T-shirts as souvenirs on vacation?

T-shirts as souvenirs are often overrated, especially considering they can be easily purchased online. Additionally, buying T-shirts while traveling means having to carry extra bags and can be costly. I personally prefer to buy smaller souvenirs like keychains instead.
