IELTS Speaking Part 1 (Health)
Topic: Health
Difficulty: Average
1. How do you keep healthy?
– In addition to maintaining a balanced diet and getting sufficient rest, I make sure to incorporate daily exercise into my routine. Currently, I run 2 kilometers every day without fail. This helps to warm up my body and keep me active.
2. What are your favorite sports?
– I enjoy participating in various sports, including badminton and tennis, but my favorite sport is basketball. This is because, through basketball, I have had the opportunity to meet new friends who have become an important part of my life. Without this sport, I would have never had the chance to meet these incredible individuals.
3. Are there health classes in your school?
– Yes, currently in our year, we have health classes, and our focus is on learning how to keep our eyes healthy. Along with eating nutritious meals, we have also been discussing ways to protect our eyes.
4. What sports help people stay healthy?
– I believe that most sports can contribute to overall health, but I consider badminton and tennis to be particularly effective. These sports do not require excessive running, and they involve less physical contact compared to some other sports. As a result, the risk of injuries is relatively low. Additionally, they are relatively easy to play and can significantly improve eye and muscle coordination.
5. Is it easy for people to exercise in your country?
I cannot speak for the rest of the country, but in our community, I can confidently say that we have a conducive environment for exercise. The place is well-lit at night, allowing people to walk or jog in the evening. Additionally, we have an ample number of courts for children to play sports.
