Do you like modern art or traditional art?
Aya (High School Student)
I think I like modern art more because it’s colorful and creative. Some of it is hard to understand, but I like that it can look very unique and different from traditional art.
Minho (University Student)
I like both, but I find modern art more interesting. It allows for more freedom and creativity, and I like how each person can see something different in it. Traditional art is also beautiful, though, especially historical pieces.
Linh (Office Worker)
I appreciate both, but I prefer traditional art. It feels classic and timeless, and I enjoy looking at paintings that show history or landscapes. Modern art can be intriguing, but I connect more with traditional styles.
Mr. Wong (Retired English Teacher)
I have an appreciation for both, but traditional art resonates more with me. I value the techniques and stories behind classical pieces, though I also find modern art refreshing in how it challenges conventions.
Do you want to be an artist?
Aya (High School Student)
Maybe! I think it would be fun to be an artist because you get to create whatever you want. But I’m not very good at drawing, so I’m not sure if I could do it as a job.
Minho (University Student)
Not really, but I do respect artists. Being an artist seems challenging, and it requires a lot of creativity and skill. I enjoy art as a hobby, but I’m more interested in business for my career.
Linh (Office Worker)
I don’t think so, but I admire artists a lot. Creating art takes talent and patience, and I think it would be rewarding. I enjoy art as a spectator, but I don’t have plans to pursue it myself.
Mr. Wong (Retired English Teacher)
No, I don’t aspire to be an artist, but I hold a deep respect for the field. Creating art is a special gift, and while I enjoy observing and learning about it, I am happy to support artists rather than be one.
